Crystal Diamond Be Orlica “Tara” is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs. Our journey together has not always been the easiest one and we have been through more than we ever expected, but through every high and every difficult moment, we have always stood firmly by each other’s side.

Tara is a character in every possible sense of the word — incredibly stubborn, determined and very much her father Morty’s daughter. And somehow, those are exactly the qualities we love about her most. She is deeply devoted to her people, endlessly affectionate and convinced that anyone willing to throw a ball for her must surely be her new best friend.

In the show ring, Tara became another queen of Winyela. Across countless shows, the occasions when she was truly beaten could almost be counted on one hand. Just as with Rheia, I never hesitated to take her abroad and compete for any title, because Tara simply loves to show. Her effortless movement, balance and beautifully constructed outline are among the qualities I admire most in her, and watching her move around the ring never gets old.

Behind all the titles, however, she is still simply Tara — my stubborn, funny, loyal girl who has tested me, taught me and stood beside me through everything. Truly one in a million.
