Collision of Worlds Winyela “Fly” was one of three boys born in Rheia’s litter of six puppies. From the very beginning, he was the sweetest little shadow — the kind of puppy who would happily follow you anywhere, always friendly, always ready for a cuddle and never saying no to a good scratch. Somehow, that soft and affectionate nature has stayed with him completely into adulthood.

Fly was originally meant to leave for a new home in the UK, but unfortunately his first planned home did not turn out to be the right match. Just a few days before he was due to leave, we made the decision to cancel the reservation — and after that, we simply could not imagine looking for another home for him. He had already formed a very special bond with my brother, so Fly stayed in the family and went to live together with his father Rémi. The two have been practically inseparable ever since.

Every now and then, I borrowed Fly for a dog show, usually with very little preparation since we did not live together — and somehow he still managed to win more often than not, which never stopped amusing me. Eventually, however, we decided that showing was never meant to be the main part of his life. Fly is first and foremost a beloved family companion, an enthusiastic partner for trips and adventures, and a dog whose greatest talent is simply making his people happy.
